Plan your event at the Wentworth House
The Wentworth House and grounds are available for private events. This historic landmark is a beautiful venue for intimate events, including weddings, birthday parties, small reunions, and bridal showers.
Inside the house, three rooms are available for your use: the parlor, dining room, and kitchen. The ground floor is unfurnished which makes it perfect for setting up tables and chairs for your guests. Beautiful hand-carved woodwork and large windows create a warm, rustic backdrop for your decor. (As a 1701 home, it is important to note that modern kitchen facilities are not available at the house, so you’ll want your caterer to contact ARCH to discuss space limitations and options.)
A few details...
The cost of renting the house for an indoor event is $250 for the first four hours ($75 for each additional hour) and the cost of an outdoor event is $350 for the first four hours (also $75 for each additional hour). Because the Wentworth House is a unique historic property with architectural and historic significance, ARCH has an obligation to preserve the house, its contents and its landscape.
